Their Story

Seriously is a gaming studio based out of Helenski, Finland that puts great storytelling and fantastic artwork in all of their games. They are the creators of the hit game Best Fiends along with the follow up title Best Fiends Forever.

Their Solution

Seriously tasked Unique Influence with getting the word out about a new promo video for Best Fiends called “WARNING: Don’t Download Best Fiends.” The video featured Grey’s Anatomy actress Kate Walsh and YouTuber Rosanna Pansino amongst others. The lighthearted, tongue-in-cheek video warned viewers of the addictive nature of the game. The goal of the campaign was to get quality video views, likes, comments and shares to drive overall awareness of the game.

Initial targeting focused on English speaking countries, including the US, UK, and Canada. Initial results were well within the allowable KPIs for the campaign but we knew we could do better. Based on the stellar results, Seriously unlocked extra budget to expand into worldwide targeting of English speakers.

The campaign was able to achieve all of the goals by using a much broader audience. Results for the campaign include:

  • 54% reduction in Cost per 10 Second Video View with its extended reach
  • 50% lower cost per installs
  • 26% increase in total reach
