Our client Spacetime Studios enjoys a devoted fan base and a reputation as one of the world’s 100 most successful game studios, so when we were tasked with promoting their new game, Arcane Legends, we knew we could capitalize on their popularity and use Facebook to drive ROI.
Our goal was to build an even broader customer base for Spacetime while generating interest in Arcane Legends. We created app install ads that users saw while browsing Facebook on their mobile devices, then used Facebook Custom Audiences to target customers that were similar to the other people playing their games as well as user segments that would be most likely to convert. By using Nanigans, we were able to find the revenue of each ad and quickly and efficiently optimize for ROI. Finally, we tested 15 different combinations of ad images and text to find the combinations that led to the best results.
